Dr Arva Dhanaliwala is a UK-trained Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with nearly 20 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Reproductive Medicine and Infertility. Her professional journey includes significant contributions in both clinical practice and academic roles across India, the UK, and the UAE.
In her extensive career, Dr Arva has developed a deep expertise in managing both high and low-risk pregnancies, including multiple order caesarean sections and vaginal birth after caesarean sections (VBAC). Her skills in gynaecological procedures, such as colposcopy, and her proficiency in addressing menstrual disorders, reproductive endocrinology, PCOS, and menopause, have been widely recognised. She is particularly adept in assisted reproduction treatments, offering a holistic approach to her patients.
Dr Arva’s educational journey commenced at Karnataka University, India, where she completed her initial medical training. She then advanced her specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education. Her pursuit for excellence led her to the UK, where she completed her Membership at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2011 and was awarded her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2015. This diverse educational background underpins her comprehensive approach to patient care.
Beyond her clinical roles, Dr Arva has also made significant contributions to the field through her research and academic involvements. She served as a Fellow in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Nurture Fertility, Nottingham, UK, and as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Sharjah. Her tenure as the Chief of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the American Hospital in the UAE and her expertise at the LIVIO IVF centre further highlight her multifaceted career.
