Dr. Farid Ghasemzadeh is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with 25 years of experience in his field. He graduated in 2001 as Doctor of Medicine from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. After that Dr. Ghasemzadeh specialised in Orthopaedics and graduated as National Board in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2001 from the same university. In 2006 Dr. Ghasemzadeh did his FRCS fellowship (Courtesy Fellow Of Royal College Of Surgeons) in Alberta/ Canada. He also was a Clinical Fellowship in Osteosynthesis from Foothills Hospital Medical Centre in Calgary/ Canada.
Dr. Ghasemzadeh has vast experience performing a variety of arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgeries in the field of orthopaedics including shoulder arthroscopy and knee arthroscopy as well as joint replacement surgeries for knee and hip joints.
His skills and expertise includes dealing with all orthopaedic problems and trauma to upper and lower limbs, dealing with dislocation, fractures by closed and open reduction techniques, management of multiple trauma patients and open fractures according to ATLS guides and minor surgeries in the emergency O.R. like tendon repair and removal of local soft tissue masses.
Dr. Ghasemzadeh can also manage peripheral nerve entrapment, muscle and tendon problems and age related orthopaedic conditions such as osteoporosis, fragile bone fractures and osteoarthritis. He also takes special interest in sports related orthopaedic injuries.
