Dr. Mikhail Wadie Abdelmessih completed his graduation (M.B.B.CH.) from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt in 2000 and Masters in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) from Cairo University in 2005. Dr. Mikhail obtained his P.H.D and M.D. in Otorhinolaryngology in 2009 from Kasr El Aini, Cairo University, Egypt. He has also worked as a P.H.D. researcher and doctor at Yale School of Medicine, Larynx lab, New Haven, Connecticut, USA.
Dr. Mikhail has a rich experience of working at reputed hospitals, as an Assistant Professor at the School of Medicine, Cairo University and is a Certified Trainer for the Egyptian Fellowship Board. His key areas of expertise include Adenotonsillectomy, Ear Ventilation Tube Insertion, Myringoplasty, Cortical Mastoidectomy, Radical Mastoidectomy, Nasal Turbinectomy, Nasal Septum Submucous Resection, Nasal Septoplasty, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Direct Laryngoscopy, Microlaryngosurgery and Tracheostomy.
Dr. Mikhail has been awarded “Broyles Maloney Award” in 2011 at COSM Meeting, Chicago, USA. He also holds memberships in previous medical organisations such as the Egyptian Medical Syndicate and Egyptian Otorhinolaryngology Society. He has various publications to his credit and has been part of numerous international workshops and conferences.
