Dr Peerbhoy is a British qualified Consultant Respiratory Physician with nearly 20 years of experience in the UK National Health Service. He has worked in prominent hospitals such as Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital, St George’s Hospital, and the Royal Brompton Hospital, London. Throughout his career, Dr Peerbhoy has been recognized for his clinical excellence and his commitment to patient care, safety, and quality improvement.
Dr Peerbhoy earned his medical degree from Pune University, India, in 1998. He completed his specialist residency in Respiratory Medicine at the Military Hospital Cardiothoracic Centre, Pune, and was awarded an MD in Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune in 2003. He moved to the UK in 2004, where he completed his Core Medical and Higher Specialist training in Respiratory Medicine in the London Deanery. Dr Peerbhoy was awarded his CCT in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine in 2015.
In addition to his clinical roles, Dr Peerbhoy has contributed to medical education and training, acting as a mentor for residents and students. He holds accreditation as an expert Somnologist (Sleep Medicine) awarded by the European Sleep Research Society and is highly regarded for his expertise in Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine.
