Dr Regina C. Will is a gastroenterologist with a broad spectrum and holistic and compassionate approach.
She covers the entire area of gastroenterology and hepatology.
She studied at the Medical school Hamburg/ Germany, and then underwent an extensive and broad clinical education in internal medicine, including training in accident and emergency, advanced ultrasound and intensive care, and consecutively, in gastroenterology. She holds “Facharzt” (equivalent to board membership/ member of a royal college) both in Internal medicine and Gastroenterology.
She acquired her PhD from Johannes Guttenberg University in Mainz / Germany.
In 2006, she undertook postgraduate studies at European business school Oestrich-Winkel and graduated as health economist.
Prior to joining King’s College, she worked at German Clinic for Diagnostics in Wiesbaden / Germany, a hospital built after the example of Mayo clinic, from 2000 to 2011, and at American Hospital Dubai from 2011 onwards.
She has a special interest in inflammatory bowel diseases and runs a busy, well established, locally and internationally renowned clinic for inflammatory bowel diseases. She believes that the patient – physician relationship is the foundation for excellence in patient care, and that practising integral medicine is specifically beneficial when treating chronic diseases.
Dr Regina holds a degree in nutritional medicine and gastroenterologic oncology. She is very experienced in enteral nutrition and PEG placement and care.
She performs screening, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies on a daily basis.
She speaks English, German and Spanish, and studies Arabic.
