Dr. Rouba Abdennour is a Specialist in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. She received her medical degree from the American University of Beirut, then completed her training as a Specialist in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the American University of Beirut Medical Centre.
She is experienced in preventive pediatric health care, immunisations, new born care, child growth and development, adolescent medicine, nutrition and breastfeeding counselling, and management of acute and chronic illnesses in children. She provides comprehensive evidence-based and patient-centred care from birth to 18 years of age.
In addition to her clinical background, Dr. Rouba served as a postdoctoral research fellow in pediatric haematology at the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the American University of Beirut Medical Centre and authored publications in pediatric blood disorders, namely sickle cell disease.
Dr. Rouba applies her knowledge and expertise to conduct public awareness and parent education sessions in the field of pediatrics. She is also active on social media platforms where she frequently shares pediatric and parenting tips.
She is an international member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). She speaks fluent English, Arabic and French.
