Dr. Salil. A. Vengsarkar is a well-qualified senior General laparoscopic and laser surgeon with extensive surgical experience of 24 years.
For the last sixteen years Dr. Salil. has been serving various hospitals and performing a wide range of general surgeries in UAE. He is an expert laparoscopic surgeon and well trained in Laser surgical procedures and in rectal surgeries.
He passed out from the prestigious Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (Sion Hospital) Mumbai, India in 1992 and joined for his masters in surgery on the same year. He completed his master’s in general surgery from the world-renowned TATA memorial hospital in Mumbai in the year 1996. As a part of enhancing his clinical experience, he has worked in Singapore and Australia with world famous surgical experts to learn from them the surgical skills directly in the area of minimally invasive surgery(upper/lower GI, colorectal, vascular) He also underwent training in laser surgery in Germany, Latvia, and Tunisia and has been practicing laser procedures for last 8 years in UAE. Prior to joining Kings College Hospital Dubai, He was associated as Head of Surgery at Thumbay hospital, Dubai -United Arab Emirates.
He is a member of various surgical societies and has got many publications to his credit. He comes from a family of well-known and respectable doctors and has a keen interest in Sports.
