I have been in UAE since 2012. within this period, I have worked as a Registered Midwife, Midwife Manager, and a Nurse Supervisor before joining Kings College Hospital. I'm Omolara Osisanya (Lara) preferably. A Midwife from Nigeria, practiced for 7 years in Nigeria before coming to the UAE in 2015. The miracle of birthing a child is my greatest inspiration to keep being a midwife. I love shopping(in case I bump into you in the malls 😊).

I derive profound joy from guiding natural processes and supporting women in whatever type of birthing experience they want. No two Moms, no two babies and no two births are the same, so it is important to me to individualize care to each mom. I feel honoured to share in the miracle of bringing babies into this world by supporting my moms and giving them safe and natural options for their birth.

Well experienced in handling complicated cases and obstetrical emergencies. I completed 10 years work experience here in the UAE. I can say Midwifery is all about helping and caring, and the greatest joy is to bring new life into this world! I'm a UK trained midwife and qualified in 2013. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient midwifery in the UK before moving to Dubai in August 2020. I have a keen interest in sports and have taken up golf since moving to Dubai. I am also in the process of completing a personal training course in the hope to go on and specialise in facilitating antenatal and postnatal fitness classes.
