At King\u2019s College Hospital London, Dubai, our nursing department would be responsible for the day to day clinical operations within the clinics and Hospital. The nursing team works collaboratively with physicians, therapists, the patient, the patient’s family and other team members, focusing on treating illness to improve quality of life.<\/p>\n
In addition to the clinical nursing needs, the nursing department focuses on Clinical Governance of the service, this addresses the Quality, Safety and Risk of nursing care in general. This ensures that high quality care is achieved, supported by a sound evidence base.<\/p>\n
Our clinical business covers the following specialties: Ambulatory Care, Acute Care, Critical Care and Women and Children\u2019s services. Each service is led by an Associate Chief Nurse Officer (ACNO), with direct reporting into the Chief Operating and Nursing Officer. The ACNOs are supported by Matron(s), sisters\u2019\/charge nurses and Registered nurses.<\/p>\n
