Carol has over 20 years of nursing experience in both the UK and the UAE, having spent 18 of those years working in both the private and public healthcare sector in UAE. She has held a variety of healthcare roles, involving leadership, quality and implementation of practice.
Carol has most recently been working as Director of Nursing for a large teaching hospital within the UAE, working closely with the Ministry of Health developing graduate nurse programmes.
She is passionate about nursing in the UAE and is currently the Chair of the Emirates Nursing Association Nursing & Midwifery Leadership Society, with focus on improving the culture of nursing in the UAE, practice development and support for nurses across the country.
Carol graduated from the University of East Anglia (UK) as a registered nurse and is licensed by the Nursing & Midwifery Council of the UK and with federal bodies in the UAE.
She gained her MSc International HealthCare Management from Bradford University UK.
Carol lives in Dubai with her son and enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and travelling.
