The PCR test, which is performed through a nasal swap of both nostrils to collect a sample of mucous, is not painful, but it can have some degree of discomfort when it’s being done.

At King’s College Hospital London in Dubai, PCR tests are done at our main hospital – inside the outpatient department, at the drive-through tent, and at our Dubai Marina and Jumeirah medical centres.
