Gee Aziz, a dynamic and strategic leader, has led the financial operations at King’s College Hospital London, Dubai, since October 2021. Her visionary approach and expert financial management have been instrumental in driving the growth of our organisation.
Before joining King’s, Ms Aziz served as the Group CFO at Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care, headquartered in Malaysia, managing seven hospitals across Malaysia and Indonesia and ambulatory care in Hong Kong. She was instrumental in setting up the joint venture between Ramsay Healthcare Ltd and Sime Darby Berhad and remarkably transformed the financial operations during her tenure, strengthening profitability and sustainability.
Ms Aziz’s competence stretches beyond mere numbers. She has a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, as evident from her leadership team across various divisions such as Finance & Treasury, IT, Legal, Revenue Management, and Procurement. Additionally, her exposure to sectors outside healthcare, such as telecommunications, has empowered her with a unique perspective and innovative ideas, fostering transformation within the healthcare sector.
Her affinity for multicultural environments and her ability to lead and harmonise multicultural teams further enhances her profile. Having worked under diverse international CEOs and led teams across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Hong Kong, Ms Aziz brings a wealth of global experience and cultural understanding to her role at King’s.
Ms Aziz’s commitment to excellence is mirrored in her academic record. She earned her professional certificate from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) at the London School of Accountancy, United Kingdom and subsequently became an Associate Member of CIMA, both feats accomplished through a full scholarship.
