Dr Tashfeen Siddiq has guided the healthcare strategies of King’s Dubai as Chief Medical Officer since 2022. A recognised Fellow of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine UK, he has seamlessly amalgamated his rich experience in Emergency Medicine with administrative acumen to steer our medical teams towards consistent success.
Prior to his outstanding work at King’s Dubai, Dr Ali made significant contributions as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at King’s College Hospital London, UK where he carried many responsibilities, including overseeing clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient experience enhancement programs.
After graduating from King Edward Medical University in Pakistan, Dr Ali began his medical journey in Ireland, training in Emergency Medicine. He was later honoured with membership and fellowship of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, UK, and a CCT from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland. In addition, he completed a fellowship in Critical Care at Cambridge University Hospitals and earned Clinical Research, Education, and Leadership qualifications from the University of Cambridge.
Dr Ali’s passion lies in critical care, improving quality in medicine, and clinical education. He has championed the setup of in-situ simulation programs in two hospitals and has served as a faculty member at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. His contribution to developing care pathways and various quality improvement projects has been invaluable.
As CMO at King’s Dubai, Dr Ali has successfully managed diverse clinical teams, optimised efficiency, and fostered collaboration. His clinical prowess and leadership skills have played an instrumental role in handling a wide array of emergencies, including cardiac arrests and major traumas.
Dr Ali has been a torchbearer of high-quality, safe, and efficient emergency care from King’s London to King’s Dubai. His continued efforts and achievements underscore his commitment to healthcare and team management excellence.
