Dr Mounayer is a European-trained specialist ENT with over 40 years of experience in otolaryngology. He has managed more than 100,000 patients and performed over 20,000 ENT surgeries.
He brings extensive international experience, including a three-year residency at the Portmann Foundation in Bordeaux. Dr. Mounayer is skilled in a wide range of surgical procedures, including tonsil and adenoid removal, septoplasty (to correct a deviated septum), rhinoplasty, sinus surgery, middle ear surgery, and grommet insertion. He treats many ENT conditions, such as allergic rhinitis (when your nose gets irritated by something you are allergic to, like pollen), nasal polyps, vocal cord lesions, vertigo, hearing disorders, and ENT emergencies with care tailored to individual patient needs.
He holds an MD from the University of Damascus and a CES in Otorhinolaryngology from the University of Bordeaux, with additional diplomas in Audiology and Micro-Otologic Surgery (France). He is a member of the French Society of Otorhinolaryngology, the Portmann Foundation, and the Rhinology Society, and has served on Syria’s Cochlear Scientific Committee and Scientific Committee Board.
