Dr Dabora is an advanced surgeon with over 9 years of post-specialisation experience in hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery and liver transplantation.
He has worked at the esteemed Dr Rela Institute and Medical Centre, and previously served as Chief Surgeon of HPB and Liver Transplant at Ibn Sina Hospital. He led the team that performed Sudan’s first successful living donor liver transplantation in the public sector. He has also managed a wide range of complex HPB procedures, including Whipple’s operations, liver resections, biliary reconstructions, and paediatric liver cases.
Dr Dabora completed his MBBS at the University of Gezira and an MD in General Surgery from the Sudan Medical Specialization Board. He went on to complete a Fellowship in HPB and Liver Transplant at the Institute of Liver Disease and Transplantation, Global Hospital.
