Dr. Baher Ashour is a British-trained ENT Consultant at King’s College Hospital London in Dubai. He has more than 25 years of experience diagnosing and treating ear, nose, and throat conditions. He specializes in hearing and balance disorders, endoscopic ear surgery, and ENT care for both adults and children.
Dr. Ashour obtained his medical degree and completed specialist ENT training. He then received a Master’s degree in Audiology for ENT Practice from University College London as a Chevening Scholar, graduating with distinction. He also trained at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital in London, earned his MD in 2009, and became a Fellow of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (FEBORL) in 2011.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ashour has held senior clinical and academic positions, combining extensive experience in tertiary ENT care with a strong commitment to education and clinical excellence. He has a particular interest in the management of complex hearing disorders, Eustachian tube dysfunction, tinnitus, and advanced endoscopic ear and nasal surgery, using evidence-based techniques.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ashour serves as an Assistant Professor at Cairo University, Faculty of Medicine. He is the Executive President of the International Working Group on Eustachian Tube and a member of the International Working Group for Endoscopic Ear Surgery. He is actively involved in international research, teaching, and surgical workshops, contributing to the ongoing advancement of ENT practice worldwide.
