Dr Ibrahem is a highly qualified UK board-certified Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with over seven years of experience post-CCT.
He completed his MBChB at Al-Mustansiriya University, followed by MRCP in 2013, the European Certificate in General Cardiology Training in 2018, and CCT in Cardiology in 2020. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP Cardiology) in 2023. These achievements reflect his dedication to providing the highest standard of heart care.
Prior to joining King’s, he was a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at The Grange University Hospital, Wales, where he not only provided expert care to patients but also led cardiology training for specialty trainees. His previous experience includes registrar and specialty training posts at Morriston Hospital, Swansea, University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff and an academic teaching fellowship at Warwick University.
Dr. Ibrahem is accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography in transthoracic ECHO and has a strong academic record, including peer-reviewed publications and international presentations. He continues to play an active role in training and mentoring cardiology trainees, with proven leadership and decision-making skills developed in high-pressure clinical environments.
