Dr. Raymond Hreiche is an experienced UK-licensed Family Medicine Consultant with over a decade of clinical expertise spanning both the NHS and private healthcare. He graduated with an MBBS from Imperial College London, achieving distinctions in Therapeutics and General Practice. He subsequently completed his specialist training in South London, obtaining his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP).
Prior to specializing in Family Medicine, Dr. Raymond completed core training in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care (ICU), which provided him with a robust foundation for managing acute and urgent medical conditions. He possesses a unique medical background, holding a PhD in Pharmacology, a Master’s in Toxicology, and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
Dr. Raymond has a strong understanding of travel medicine, having worked as a Medical Doctor for travel insurance providers. In this capacity, he gained specialized experience performing fitness-to-fly assessments and managing complex travel medical assistance cases (repatriation and evacuation). His passion for remote medical care extends to Expedition Medicine, where he has served as an expedition doctor on challenging events such as the Marathon des Sables in the Sahara Desert and the trek to Everest Base Camp.
He is Board Certified in Lifestyle Medicine and is passionate about holistic, preventative healthcare. Dr. Raymond has a strong academic track record, with 16 peer reviewed publications and book chapters and 32 published conference abstracts.
He is dedicated to delivering globally informed, culturally sensitive patient care and is trilingual in English, French, and Arabic. When not working, Dr. Raymond enjoys reading, is a keen runner, and enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children.
