Dr. Salma Yassine is a consultant ophthalmologist who has received her training in the United States and specializes in pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, and neuro-ophthalmology. She gives thorough care to both children and adults who have a variety of eye conditions, with a special emphasis on complicated pediatric eye disorders, eye movement disorders, and neurological conditions that affect vision.
Dr. Yassine obtained her medical degree and did her ophthalmology residency at the American University of Beirut. She then went to the United States in order to receive further training, finishing a fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota and another one in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. As a result of these experiences, she acquired advanced skills in the treatment of complex eye conditions.
Dr. Yassine has international training and follows an evidence-based, patient-oriented method. She has taken part in clinical research in the field of neuro-ophthalmology and also in pediatric ophthalmology. She is committed to preparing treatment plans which are tailored to each individual in order that they may attain the best possible vision.
