Dr. Umesh Nihalani is a Consultant Dermatologist at King’s College Hospital London – Dubai, bringing more than 24 years of experience to his practice. With a genuine passion for his work, he specializes in medical dermatology, aesthetic procedures, and laser treatments. He also has experience in the management of chronic inflammatory skin conditions.
Dr. Nihalani earned his medical degree from the NHL Municipal Medical College, Gujarat University, and he completed his postgraduate training in Dermatology. He further advanced his expertise in aesthetic medicine by earning a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine. His commitment to excellence was recognized when he became board-certified in Aesthetic Medicine by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, and he was even awarded a Bronze Medal for outstanding performance.
Throughout his career, Dr. Nihalani has developed extensive expertise across both medical and aesthetic dermatology. His clinical practice includes the diagnosis and management of complex skin conditions, as well as advanced aesthetic treatments designed to improve skin health and restore confidence. Earlier in his career, he established a successful private dermatology practice in India. He worked with B.J. Medical College and Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, where he managed HIV dermatology services under the National AIDS Control Organization.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Nihalani takes on the role of is an Assistant Faculty member with the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. He is passionate about educating and training fellow physicians in aesthetic medicine. He remains committed to combining evidence-based dermatological care with the latest advances in aesthetic treatments to achieve natural, long-lasting results for his patients.
