ASHI PROGRAMS OVERVIEW
ASHI Training Programs are evidence based and peer reviewed to ensure delivery of high-quality trainings which conforms to the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) Consensus.
All ASHI Programs are recognized and accepted by Dubai Health Authority (DHA); Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP); Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH-AD); and Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS).

1. Basic Life Support (BLS)
Program Overview:
The ASHI Basic Life Support (BLS) program is intended to assist healthcare providers, including professional rescuers, in learning and refining BLS skills for patients of all ages.
These critical, potentially life-saving skills include performing high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use of automated external defibrillator (AED) as a single provider and part of a team.
Participants will learn to assess and recognize early signs of life-threatening emergencies, how to provide basic life support and what to do in case of an airway obstruction.
Approval:
This program has been locally approved by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) and internationally by American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI).
CME Accreditation:
This is accredited by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) with 3.5 CME Points and accepted and recognized by Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) and Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH-AD)
Certification:
Upon successful completion, participants will receive King’s College Hospital London-TC CME certificate and an international certification card which is valid for two (2) years.
2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ASHI ACLS)
Program Overview:
The American Safety and Health Institute Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ASHI ACLS) program is a scenario (case-based) continuing education course designed to provide healthcare professionals with an opportunity to enhance and refine their knowledge and hands-on skill proficiency in emergency cardiovascular care.
Delivery of ASHI ACLS involves competent integration of knowledge and psychomotor skills that is both reactive and interactive. Our goal is to help participants develop these skills in a learning environment that is positive, cooperative and highly practical. A stimulating, nonthreatening environment is best for learning.

This program has been locally approved by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) and internationally by American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI).

3. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (ASHI PALS)
Program Overview:
The American Safety and Health Institute Pediatric Advanced Life Support (ASHI PALS) program is a scenario (case-based) continuing education course intended for highly skilled healthcare professionals who will manage respiratory and cardiovascular emergencies for pediatric patients.

This program has been locally approved by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) and internationally by American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI).
Accreditation:
This is accredited by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) with 10 CME Points and accepted and recognized by Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) and Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH-AD).

4. Basic First Aid with CPR and AED
Program Overview:
The American Safety and Health Institute Basic First Aid with CPR and AED helps to develop the knowledge, skills, and the confidence of an individual without medical background to respond to a medical emergency.
Approval:
This program has been locally approved by Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) and internationally by American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI).
Certification:
Upon successful completion, participants will receive King’s College Hospital London-TC completion certificate and an international certification card which is valid for two (2) years.
