Dr Anushay Ghaffar Khan is a general dentist who earned her BDS qualification from The University of Liverpool, UK in 2017. She is extremely good with patient communication and was awarded the prestigious Richard Edwards Scholarship for communication by The University of Liverpool.
She further developed her skills in general dentistry under the training of excellent mentors during her dental foundation programme in the acclaimed Health Education North West Deanery training scheme in the UK. This invaluable experience exposed her to a diverse range of patients covering all aspects of general dentistry areas including root canal treatment, restorative work, extractions and prosthodontics.
Following her foundation training, Dr Anushay was successful in being selected to work with top rated dentist Dr Byron Tsvios of The Square Dental Surgery as an associate in a distinguished mixed NHS and private practice. Here, she gained a much deeper experience of high-quality dentistry and cosmetics.
During her career in the UK, Dr Anushay followed her deep desire to always improve and learn by achieving certification in The Mini Smile Makeover and Totally Composite courses in London which reinforced her approach for minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry.
She is also certified in providing Invisalign treatment.
Dr Anushay is a member of the British Dental Association (BDA) and has a current membership with The General Dental Council (UK). Her training and experience in the UK have taught her to deliver evidence-based dentistry and practice high quality patient-centred care. She has recently moved from the UK to join Kings College Hospital in December 2020 to provide the best of British healthcare to contribute to the UAE. She particularly enjoys helping children and anxious patients by providing a painless and comfortable experience for her patients due to her calming and gentle nature.
