Dr Kartic Rajaram is a UK board-certified Maxillofacial Surgeon with over 22 years of experience specialising in complex head, neck and facial reconstructive surgery, management of oral cancer, complex facial reconstruction, aesthetic facial surgery, craniofacial surgery, surgery for cleft lip and palate, facial trauma, and Temporomandibular joint disorders.

Dr Rajaram joins King’s from University Hospitals Dorset and has previously served as a consultant at University Hospitals Leicester and Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

He completed his medical degree at Cardiff University, followed by MRCS and FRCS exit examinations. Dr Rajaram is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. His higher specialist training was at Manchester (North West deanery) and was followed by a prestigious Head and Neck Interface Fellowship at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Glasgow.

Dr Rajaram is one of the few select surgeons who have completed fellowships in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular reconstruction as well as Cleft and Craniofacial surgery. He has contributed to advancements in the field of Maxillofacial Surgery, including head and neck oncology/microvascular reconstruction and facial reanimation for patients with facial paralysis.

Dr Rajaram is a member of the British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the British Association of Head & Neck Oncologists, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM), and a life member of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India.
