Dr Tahir Bangash has practised Paediatrics for over twenty years in several health facilities, including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Al-Buraimi Hospital Sultanate of Oman, Dubai Hospital and Al Jalila’s Children Subspecialty Hospital under DHA and DAHC respectively. His fields of interest are managing Paediatric emergencies, acute trauma care, point-of-care ultrasonography and bedside echo (POCUS).
He received his medical degree from Ayub Medical College and Complex Abbottabad Pakistan, completed his residency, and achieved Fellowship in General Paediatrics (FCPS) from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2007. He also earned his membership in the College of Physicians and Surgeons (MCPS) in Paediatrics in 2005 and Diploma in Maternal and Child Health (DCH) from Scotland in 2014.
