What is Cerebral Palsy?
Cerebral palsy affects muscle control and movement. In most cases, it’s caused by an injury to the brain before, during or after birth. This damage may cause problems with controlling muscles and movements as the child grows and develops. Symptoms vary between children, depending on the type of injury, so it’s important that your child receives the treatment he or she needs.
At King’s College, Dubai we bring together a wide group of doctors so that your child’s care can be tailored to his or her particular needs. Our Pediatricians are experts in the problems faced by children with cerebral palsy and their families and will be able to advise you on the best treatment options for your child.
