Here at Kings College Hospital in Dubai, our Obstetrics Clinic is fortunate to have a group of highly experienced midwives with over 30 years’ experience between them.
Our focus is on “Women-centred care” a term used to describe a philosophy of maternity care that promotes a holistic approach by recognizing each woman’s social, emotional, physical, spiritual and cultural needs The expectations and context are defined by the woman herself, and as a team, the midwives support the mother to make the right choice for her and her baby.
The Midwives provide the mother and family with individualized education, counseling, and prenatal care, continuous hands-on assistance during labor and delivery, and postpartum support.
