Professor K. Ray Chaudhuri

Simply referred to as Prof. Ray, he is a Professor of Neurology and Movement Disorders at King’s College Hospital in Dubai, and King’s College London, and the Medical Director of the Parkinson’s Foundation International Centre of Excellence at King’s College, which is directly linked with the King’s Advanced Parkinson’s Centre of Excellence in Dubai.

Prof. Ray was also recently recognised as the 4th leading expert in Parkinson’s Disease in the world by Expertscape, based on academic publications as well as clinical standing. He is also internationally known for pioneering modern care for people with Parkinson’s Disease particularly advanced therapies in addition to care for restless legs syndrome.

Dr Vinod Metta

Dr Vinod is a Consultant Interventional Neurologist and Movement Disorders, Dystonia, and Parkinson’s Disease specialist. He has a doctorate for research on the pathophysiology of, and treatment options for, disabling non-motor symptoms of fatigue and sleep in patients with Parkinson’s disease, in collaboration with King’s and Imperial College London.

In addition to his passion in providing specialised and patient-specific care to Parkinson’s patients, he also free shares his knowledge through globally-attended Parkinson’s Masterclasses held in Dubai that feature current treatment pathways, guidelines, hands on workshops, and novel device aided therapies among others.

Assoc. Prof Dr Bu’ Hussain Hayee

Dr Hayee is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and is the lead of King’s Dubai Advanced Gastroenterology Clinic that provides minimally invasive and non-surgical treatments for a variety of gastrointestinal diseases. He is also an Associate Professor in Gastroenterology at King’s College London. At King’s Dubai, he has pioneered the use of POEM procedure for Achalasia treatment, which is a widely misdiagnosed condition that affects the muscles in oesophagus.

Dr Guy Chung-Faye

Dr Guy is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at King’s Dubai, and at King’s College Hospital – London Teaching NHS Hospital and Academic Health Sciences Centre. He has special interests in Bowel Cancer Screening, Gastroenteritis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease among others. He is also part of the King’s Advanced Parkinson Research Centre in Dubai, which is led by Professor Ray Chaudhuri and Dr Vinod Metta, and focuses on treating Parkinson’s Disease patients with infusion therapies.

Dr Parthi Srinivasan

Dr Parthi Srinivasan is a visiting Consultant Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgeon at King’s Dubai, and Clinical Lead for Liver and Pancreatic at the King’s College Hospital, London, UK. His expertise includes Living Donor Liver Transplantation, Laparoscopic Liver and Pancreatic Surgery, Surgery for Liver and Pancreatic cancer among others. Dr Parthi is also the Clinical Lead of the Organ Utilisation and Islet Cell Transplantation at King’s College Hospital NHS Trust.

Prof. Ameet G. Patel

Professor Ameet is a Consultant Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic and Minimal Access Surgeon at Kings College Hospital NHS Trust, and King’s Dubai. He is credited with developing one of the UK’s leading Bariatric Centres, with a special interest in complex, revision weight loss and single incision surgery. He also performed the UK’s first laparoscopic right hepatectomy and continues to push the boundaries of day case surgical procedures.
